I’ve always describe of my childhood as unusual. Seeing other kids spending their time inside on the computer or watching tv did not interest me. I was always outside either alone or with my 3 brothers. Playing in the mud, sand and rain was never undesirable because I was able to appreciate the sensation of the outdoors. These outdoor desires grew bigger when I got older and eventually they turned into hikes, hunting, fishing and camping trips with my family. The energy of getting your first turkey, catching your first fish or spotting deer in the fields instantly had me hooked. Adventuring into the wilderness is therapeutic, unpredictable and extremely rewarding. I wish to seek the wilderness with compassion to all I set my eyes on.
