We are constantly in awe of the natural world and the experiences it offers us. Our times outdoors are unmatched and we hope that many generations from now, all can share in these as we have. This however, is not possible without making a commitment to conservation. 

We hope that our stories inspire those they might come across to get outdoors and seek these experiences for themselves. We believe strongly that the best way to conserve these places is by having people become interested in them. If people do not know about something, they likely will not know it even needs saving. By getting people outdoors, they can in turn inform their peers about it through their own stories, and so on and so forth. It is our hope that through this, the intent on preserving our wild places will be compounded.

Here at the Herd, we would like to pledge our own commitment to conservation and the preservation of our wild places and the species that inhabit them by, with each species we pursue, making a donation to an organization involved in the conservation of it or its habitat.
